What is Track 6 Designs all about?

Track 6 Designs is the freelance work of designer and illustrator, Dave Gitlin. After spending years in an ad agency environment, the creative spirit within finally overthrew the safe, rythmic flow of agency life and broke free into the unpredictable, colorful, unteathered creation and experimentation best suited for clients who are willing to stand out and communicate without monotony.

This site is intended to display some of the work I've created along the way and impart knowledge that's fit to pass on.

After about two months of design and production - the hard work and long hours I've put in are now a tangible, buyer-ready sales tool/archival piece of classfully designed marketing nostalgia. For some more shots of how the book turned out, take a look here.

 

 

 

New Website Launch _ 1.15.08

After a lot of putting it off and working on paying projects while my own website remained faceless, I'm happy to say that as you can see, it's finally up and running. There's still some missing content and a few kinks I'm working on. I'm pretty happy that I can finally showcase some of the work that I've done and begin to reference this website as a place for prospective clients to see some work. Here's to finally being up on the internet!

 

 

Giving Tutorials A Go_ 1.15.08

I'm going to either be writing or recording a bunch of tutorials and quick tips that you'll be able to access under the Tutorials tab of this site. I have some great ideas on the kinds of things I want to share, however I'd really like to know what you'd like to learn from me.
