Multiple Sclerosis is a disease that stops people from moving. Justin Duchscherer (A's relief pitcher) and Rich Harden (A's starting pitcher) didn't stop until they raised thousands of dollars to donate to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society by hosting a virtual Homerun Derby, courtesy of 2K Sports' MLB 2K7. The event has a great turnout every year as well as participants from the San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics. The logo is based on the 1989 "Battle of the Bay" World Series imagery and was approved by 2K Sports, the San Fransico Giants and Oakland Athletics.
